Dana Melaver is a New York based Israeli-American artist. Growing up in Tel Aviv and frequenting the American South, Dana has become fascinated the way perception is created, and the differences and similarities between various cultures. Working in various mediums, with an emphasis on photographic tools, Dana’s work attempts to explore ideas of sublimation, abstraction, and perception. Dana employs visual polyglotism and facetiousness in her projects, both in conceptual work and commercial practice, and considers all aspects of her work as parts of one body.
Dana is currently pursuing her degree at Parsons School of Design. She has shown work in The United States, Germany, and China.
